How to Enable Author Sitemap in SureRank
This Feature Is Part of Pro Plan
The Author Sitemap helps search engines discover and index all authors on your website. It creates a dedicated sitemap listing authors who have published content, improving visibility and SEO performance for multi-author websites, blogs, news portals, or magazines.
Why Use an Author Sitemap?
- Helps search engines understand site’s authorship structure
- Improves indexing of author archive pages

Steps to Enable Author Sitemap
- Go to your WordPress Dashboard
- From the left menu, navigate to SureRank → Advanced
- Click on Sitemaps
- Make sure Enable XML Sitemap is turned ON
- Enable Author Sitemap
- Click the Save button at the bottom
Where to View Your Author Sitemap
Once generated, click View Sitemap next to the main XML sitemap to confirm it appears correctly.
