The WebSite Schema is a structured data markup that helps search engines better understand your site and display enhanced results in search listings, like Sitelinks Search Box in Google. Adding this schema can improve visibility and SEO performance by enabling rich results.
Creating a WebSite Schema
Follow the steps below to add and configure the WebSite Schema using SureRank.
- Click on the Add Schema button.
- A popup will appear. From the dropdown menu, select WebSite Schema.
- Click on the Add Schema button to create the WebSite Schema.
- Once created, the WebSite Schema configuration page will appear, containing two tabs:
- Properties
- Display Conditions

Properties Tab
The Properties tab contains a list of fields for rich results. Fields marked with an asterisk (*) are mandatory.
Here’s a breakdown of each field:
Field Name | Description |
Schema Title | Add a custom title for internal reference |
Name* | Enter the official site title |
Description | Enter a short description of your website |
Potential Action | Configure a SearchAction schema (e.g. enable site search in SERP) |
Publisher | Link to an Organization schema |
URL | Add your website URL |

Display Conditions Tab
