The Software Application Schema in SureRank helps search engines understand your software or app. By adding structured data, your applications can become eligible for rich results in Google Search, showing details like the app name, description, operating system, price, and ratings.
This schema is especially useful for:

- Desktop software applications
- Web applications and SaaS products
- Games and utilities
Adding a Software Application Schema can increase your app’s visibility in search results and attract more users by highlighting key information like installation links, ratings, and supported platforms directly in Google Search.
Creating a Software Application Schema
Follow the steps below to add and configure the Software Application Schema using SureRank.
- Click on the Add Schema button.
- A pop-up will appear. From the dropdown menu, select Software Application Schema.
- Click on the Add Schema button to create the Software Application Schema.
- Once created, the Software Application Schema configuration page will appear, containing two tabs:
- Properties
- Display Conditions

The Properties tab contains a list of fields for rich results. Fields marked with an asterisk (*) are mandatory.
