BreadcrumbList

Breadcrumbs help users (and search engines) understand the hierarchical position of the current page within your site. A BreadcrumbList schema is an ordered list of links that represent each level in the navigation path. Implementing it correctly improves usability and qualifies your pages for Google’s rich‑result features.

Creating a BreadcrumbList Schema

Follow the steps below to add and configure the BreadcrumbList Schema using SureRank.

• Click on the Add Schema button.
• A popup will appear. From the dropdown menu, select BreadcrumbList Schema.
• Click on the Add Schema button to create the BreadcrumbList Schema.
• Once created, the BreadcrumbList Schema configuration page will appear, containing two tabs:
  • Properties
  • Display Conditions

This schema does not have any configurable fields

Display Conditions Tab

1. Display On: Select where you want the Breadcrumb Schema to be added. (Required field).
2. Do Not Display On: Define where the schema should not be applied.

Verifying the Schema

Once you have configured the schema, verify its correctness using one of the following tools:

• Schema Markup Validator
• Google Rich Results Test

This ensures your structured data is properly configured and eligible for rich results in search engines.
