SureRank – RSS Content Protection

SureRank includes a built-in RSS Content Protection feature that helps safeguard your content from being copied or scraped through your site’s RSS feed. This feature is enabled by default and requires no manual configuration.

Why It Matters

By default, many WordPress RSS feeds include the full content of your blog posts. This makes it easier for scrapers to republish your content without permission, which can lead to:

  • Duplicate content issues across the web
  • Loss of SEO rankings due to diluted authority
  • Reduced content trustworthiness in the eyes of search engines

How SureRank Protects You

SureRank automatically adds a backlink to the original post at the end of each feed item. This helps:

  • Credit your site as the original source
  • Inform search engines like Google that your content is authentic
  • Preserve your search visibility and domain authority

How to View Your RSS Feed

You can preview your feed and check the added backlink by:

  1. Visiting your website in a browser
  2. Adding /feed to the end of your URL
    Example: https://example.com/feed
  3. You’ll see an XML feed of your latest posts with a link back to each original article

Do I Need to Do Anything?

No setup needed!

  • The feature is automatically activated when you install SureRank.
  • It works quietly in the background to protect your content.
