SureRank – Open Graph & X (Twitter) Tags
SureRank automatically adds Open Graph and X (Twitter) meta tags to your pages. These tags make your content look great when shared on platforms like Facebook, LinkedIn, and X—showing rich previews with your title, description, and image.
You don’t need to configure anything—SureRank handles it all for you.
What SureRank Adds Automatically
Open Graph Tags
Tag | What it does |
og:title | Uses your SEO title (or the page title if not set) |
og:description | Uses your meta description or page excerpt |
og:image | Uses the featured image of the page or post |
og:url | Uses the page’s canonical URL |
og:type | Set as website or article, based on the content |
og:site_name | Your site’s title from WordPress settings |
X (Twitter) Tags
Tag | What it does |
twitter:card | Defaults to summary_large_image |
twitter:title | Same as og:title |
twitter:description | Same as og:description |
twitter:image | Same as og:image |
twitter:site | Uses your X (Twitter) handle if available |
How SureRank Chooses the Content
SureRank uses a smart fallback system:
- If you’ve set an SEO title, description, or featured image using SureRank, those are used.
- If not, it will automatically:
- Use the page/post title
- Use the first part of your content as a description
- Use the featured image (if available)
- Use the page/post title
Avoid Duplicate Tags
If you’re using another SEO plugin (like Yoast or Rank Math), make sure only one plugin is generating Open Graph and X meta tags to prevent conflicts.
