Sitemap Not Showing in SureRank
If you’re unable to view the sitemap generated by SureRank at its expected URL (typically /sitemap.xml
), follow the steps below to resolve the issue:
Issue
The sitemap is not visible or accessible when visiting the sitemap URL.
Quick Fix
- Log in to your WordPress dashboard.
- Navigate to
Settings > Permalinks
. - Without making any changes, simply click the “Save Changes” button.
- Revisit your sitemap URL (e.g.,
https://yourdomain.com/sitemap.xml
) to check if it’s working now.
Why This Works
Re-saving your permalinks flushes the rewrite rules used by WordPress, which can often fix issues related to sitemap generation and display.
Still Not Working?
If the sitemap still doesn’t appear:
- Make sure the SureRank plugin is activated.
- Ensure no other SEO plugin is conflicting with sitemap generation (e.g., RankMath, Yoast, or All in One SEO).
- Clear any caching plugins or server-side cache that may be serving outdated content.

Let us know if you’re still facing issues after trying the steps above.
