What’s new

Link Manager filters: You can now filter links in the Link Manager by post type, category, and tag. If you manage a content-heavy site with hundreds of internal links, finding links within a specific section of your site just got a lot faster. Select your filters, see exactly what you are looking for, manage it without scrolling through everything.

Fixed

Fix It For Me homepage routing: Homepage fixes are now routed correctly based on your reading settings, whether your homepage is a static page or your latest posts. The page cache is also purged after writing so the audit re-checks fresh content rather than a stale cached version.

Elementor text formatting on unlink: Unlinking a broken link inside Elementor was stripping the surrounding text formatting. Fixed!

Video Sitemap memory exhaustion: The marker backfill process for video sitemaps was causing memory exhaustion and cron loops on large sites. It now runs in resumable batches, handling large video libraries without hitting memory limits or getting stuck.

What’s new

SureRank AI screen
A new dedicated screen inside SureRank to connect your account, view your monthly AI usage, and manage all AI features from one place. 

Fixed

Person schema email disclosure: Earlier versions included the post author’s email address in Person schema output by default. This is fixed. If your site had this value saved, it is cleared automatically on update and a note appears on the Schema screen explaining the change. Props to Vaibhav Narkhede via WPScan for the responsible disclosure.

Schema freezing fix: Saving a page’s Schema tab was freezing a copy of site-wide schema onto that page, preventing global schema changes from applying to it. Fixed!

React 19 compatibility: Admin screens were rendering blank on React 19 environments including WordPress.com. Resolved.

Multilingual sitemap: Hreflang alternates are no longer emitted for missing translations. The translated home page now uses the correct URL.

CDN stale homepage: The Site SEO Audit now correctly identifies a CDN serving a stale homepage rather than reporting missing meta tags.

Word count for multibyte content: Word count now handles Arabic and other multibyte character sets correctly.

Headless REST API
SureRank now serves SEO meta tags, schema, and social preview data through a public REST API. Headless front ends built on Next.js, Gatsby, Astro, or similar can fetch and render them natively.

Author SEO
Each Author from now on gets an ability set their SEO Title, Descritpion, Meta and Social data for their Archive Pages.

AI agent integration
Enable or disable MCP with a single toggle and connect your AI client through a new dedicated setup screen.

Also new: Post-type archive pages added to the XML sitemap. Focus keyword carries over during migration from other SEO plugins. Broken links checker has a URL ignore list for known-good links. Schema date picker now supports time selection.
