Generate SEO Metadata in Bulk, Now Free

Writing an SEO title and meta description for one page is easy.

Doing it for 50, 100, or 500 pages is a very different story.

That is why Bulk Content Generation is now available in SureRank Free.

Instead of opening posts and pages one at a time, you can generate SEO metadata for multiple pieces of content from one place.

This can be especially helpful if you:

Fix Image Alt Text Faster With AI (Pro)

Image SEO is another task that becomes harder as your website grows.

A few missing alt texts are easy to fix. A media library containing hundreds of images is not.

SureRank Pro 1.9.0 introduces a new AI “Fix It For Me” grid for image alt text.

It gives you a much easier way to work through images that need alt text and use AI to help generate meaningful descriptions.

Instead of jumping between images and editing them individually, you can work through the task from a dedicated grid, review the generated suggestions, make changes where necessary, and apply them.

That makes image SEO much more manageable for blogs, WooCommerce stores, agencies, and content-heavy websites.

Build More Flexible Schema

Schema is another major area we worked on in this release.

Rather than adding one isolated schema feature, we have improved how SureRank handles dynamic values, nested data, LocalBusiness information, validation, and taxonomy recommendations.

Use Smart Tags in Custom JSON-LD

Custom JSON-LD string and textarea fields can now use Smart Tags.

This means values inside your custom schema do not always need to be entered manually.

You can use supported dynamic information from the page and let SureRank populate those values based on the content where the schema appears.

This becomes particularly useful when the same schema structure is applied across many pages.

Instead of repeatedly editing values that change from page to page, you can create the structure once and let Smart Tags fill in the dynamic pieces.

Create Richer Person Schema

We have also added nested field support for Person schema and schema references.

This gives advanced users more flexibility when one schema entity needs to contain or reference another structured entity.

For sites with authors, contributors, organizations, and interconnected structured data, it allows you to describe those relationships more accurately.

Add Better Area Served Data (Pro)

SureRank Pro 1.9.0 also adds a typed Area Served field for LocalBusiness schema.

Instead of relying only on a generic text value, service areas can now be represented using a more appropriate schema type.

That gives businesses serving particular cities, states, countries, or geographic areas a more structured way to describe where they operate.

Catch Schema Problems More Clearly

There are several improvements behind the scenes too.

If SureRank encounters a schema type that is missing from the render registry, it will now report a validation error instead of silently dropping it.

That means if something cannot be rendered correctly, you have a clearer indication that something needs attention.

We have also updated schema @id values so their trailing-slash format matches the canonical URL.

And AI schema recommendations now work correctly for taxonomies, extending the experience to category and tag pages where applicable.

These may sound like smaller changes individually, but together they make SureRank’s schema system more flexible and predictable.

Get More Control Over HTML Sitemaps (Pro)

An XML sitemap and an HTML sitemap do not always need to contain exactly the same things.

XML sitemaps primarily help search engines discover your content. An HTML sitemap is also designed for people browsing your website.

SureRank Pro 1.9.0 now adds exclusion attributes and a filter for HTML sitemaps, giving developers and advanced users more control over what appears there.

That means content can remain part of your broader SEO setup without necessarily being shown in the visitor-facing HTML sitemap.

Better Sitemaps for Large Websites

We have also made important improvements to XML sitemap reliability.

On websites with a very large number of posts, sitemap generation could previously time out in some situations.

That has been fixed in SureRank 1.10.0.

For large blogs, publications, WooCommerce stores, directories, and other content-heavy WordPress sites, sitemap generation should now handle those larger datasets more reliably.

We have also corrected the sitemap index count.

When posts are excluded through filters, they are now excluded from the sitemap index count too, so the number shown more accurately represents what is actually being included.

Better Analysis Across Popular Page Builders

Your SEO plugin should understand the content visitors and search engines actually receive, regardless of how that content was built.

That sounds obvious, but modern WordPress websites can contain content coming from page builders, dynamic blocks, shortcodes, templates, and many other sources.

We have improved SureRank’s compatibility with several of those setups in this release.

Elementor and Dynamic Blocks

SureRank’s content analysis now handles Elementor-built pages and dynamic blocks correctly in cases where their rendered content was previously not being analyzed as expected.

That means the SEO analysis should better reflect the actual content of the page rather than only what exists inside the standard WordPress editor.

TagDiv Composer

We have added TagDiv Composer support for content analysis.

SureRank Pro also adds TagDiv Composer support for link-suggestion embeddings.

This is especially useful for publishers and content-heavy websites using TagDiv products such as the Newspaper theme.

Divi 5

We have fixed two issues affecting Divi 5 in SureRank Free:

• Render-state pollution
• A CSS leak affecting the SureRank SEO popup

SureRank Pro also fixes an issue where the ancestor category could be missing from breadcrumbs on posts using Divi 5.

These compatibility improvements are part of an area we continue to take seriously as SureRank grows.

SEO analysis is only useful when it understands the page correctly, so supporting the different ways WordPress users build their sites remains important to us.

More SureRank Capabilities for AI Workflows

This release also takes another step toward a more AI-connected WordPress ecosystem.

SureRank continues to expand its support for the WordPress Abilities API and MCP.

In SureRank 1.10.0, abilities can now set the following robot instructions per post and term:

• noindex
• nofollow
• noarchive

These are the same types of indexing controls you can manage through SureRank’s Robot Instructions.

SureRank abilities are also now available through the shared MCP server.

In simpler terms, this helps compatible AI assistants and automated workflows understand which SureRank actions are available and interact with them through a more standardized system.

SureRank Pro 1.9.0 adds the Abilities API layer for Pro as well.

This work is important for where we believe WordPress workflows are heading.

Today, most SEO work happens by opening a WordPress screen and changing something manually. Increasingly, users are also working with AI assistants that can help investigate issues, manage repetitive tasks, and perform actions across their websites.

Smaller Changes That Remove Everyday Friction

Better Search Console Recovery

If Google Search Console reaches a definitive token refresh failure because the credentials are no longer valid, SureRank now clears those invalid credentials.

This gives you a cleaner path to reconnect rather than leaving the integration stuck with credentials that can no longer work.

Clearer Onboarding Connection Status

After authentication is completed through the onboarding popup, SureRank now correctly displays Connected once the popup closes.

It is a small change, but it removes the uncertainty of wondering whether the connection was actually completed.

Better Licensing Feedback (Pro)

If Fix It For Me is used while the required authentication token is missing, SureRank Pro now shows the license activation screen instead of leaving users without a useful next step.

More Reliable Breadcrumbs

SureRank now resolves the singular post from WordPress’s main query instead of relying on the global post object.

This helps prevent incorrect breadcrumb output when another part of a WordPress setup modifies the global post value.

On Divi 5 websites using SureRank Pro, we have also fixed the missing ancestor category issue mentioned earlier.

Safer Modified Date Handling

We fixed a fatal error that could occur when another WordPress plugin passed post data as an object instead of the expected format.

This is exactly the kind of compatibility issue users should not need to think about.

SureRank should simply keep working alongside the rest of your WordPress setup.

More Reliable MCP Abilities

No-input abilities no longer fail when unexpected arguments are passed.

SureRank Pro also fixes the empty properties schema that could appear for no-input abilities.

These changes make the new AI and automation layer more reliable for the tools connecting to it.
